In 1.8-Litre TFSi petrol engine we have 177bhp and 184lb/ft torque version. It is quick in performance. It takes 7.6 seconds to reach from 0-62m/h along with top speed of 150m/h. Fuel average of this petrol engine is 48m/g along with 133g/km of Co2 emissions. It is fitted with seven-speed automatic gearbox as standard with front-wheel drive system along with six-speed manual gearbox assembly.
There is a 2.0-Litre TFSi category available with 187bhp and 236lb/ft torque capacity version. It is considered the best in petrol range of Audi A3 cabriolet. Its best combination is with seven-speed S Tronic automatic gearbox and front-wheel drive unit though it is available in six-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive system mechanism but in automatic mechanism its output is marvelous.

Fuel consumption of this engine is also good with 57m/g along with 123g/km of Co2 emissions. It is also available in above mentioned three mechanisms as standard.
As we have protective bars in Renault Megane cabriolet there is no as such arrangement in Audi A3 cabriolet except two spring-loaded plates to protect the occupants ,operated automatically if the car turning over. Electronic stability control is as per standard, emergency stop system that works automatically at speed below 18m/h is very effective in prevention in front collision.
Blind spot warning system is fitted in this vehicle. There are standard airbags for all occupants and knee covering for driver’s only. Lane departure warning system is accurate in working.
