The brand-new Audi A5 is expected to be launched in three engine variants. One TDI and two TFSI engines. The power outputs of these engines have increased considerably and ranges now between 140 kW and 185 kW. A four-cylinder 2.0-liter TFSI engine will produce 140 kW power and 320 Nm of torque. Another 2.0-liter engine with slightly different outputs that are: 185 kW and 370 Nm of torque. This variant is a Quattro all-wheel-drive. Along with the petrol models, Audi has announced a 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine as well that is said to produce 140 kW of power and 400 Nm of torque.
Audi has introduced the latest technology of virtual cockpit which is an optional feature. It is presented in front of the driver with a 12/3-inch screen with a resolution of 1,440 x 540 pixels. A huge 8.3-inch touchscreen display mounted on the center of console is the heart of infotainment system. MMI terminal has a push button for easy operation just like that of a smartphone.
