This year’s Geneva Motor Show is going to be awesome as along with so many other auto manufacturers, Infiniti will launch its new small crossover which according to them is about to take on the famous BMW X1. The teaser of all new QX30 shows that this vehicle has an appearance of an SUV and its stance is comparatively higher from its Q30 hatchback concept, first introduced in 2013.
The production of Q30 will commence sometime in late 2015 at the Nissan Sunderland Factory which is the parent company of Infiniti and is under expansion right now to accommodate new car production. A spokesperson for Infiniti has said that the new QX30 will be built alongside Q30 in the mid-2016.
Infiniti claims that the QX30 will be equally wonderful on the open roads as well as the city. It will be built on the MFA platform from the German auto giant Mercedes as it also uses this platform for its latest A-Class and GLA. We would love to have bigger engines for this amazing car but for the time being it is only going to use 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines from Mercedes.
It has also been learned that Infiniti is about to add faster variants to its line-up to rival Audi but that might take some time.
