BMW 128i is powered by a 3.0 litre 24-valve inline six cylinder engine with six-speed automatic transmission system offering 230bhp along with 200 lb-ft of torque and a displacement of 2996cc.
BMW 128i is the smallest and entry level BMW and it’s a cheapest way to get in BMW 1 series vehicles. 128i is a 2 doors coupe providing space for four passengers with front-engine and rear wheel drive. Carbon black sport tech interior and exterior with M sport package, less expensive and more fuel-friendly, BMW 128i is real wheel drive architecture which, BMW group is really well known for. 17-inch aluminium wheels, smart access system, aluminium door handles, power sunroof, front headlight porches and the fog lights makes it a perfect car from outside. In terms of size, this vehicle is about 8 inches shorter than the 3 series and it also weighs about 200 pounds less, yet, it comes with standard 3 series inline six.
Now, if you look inside the BMW 128i, you may think it’s a cheapest BMW, there may be also some cost cutting inside; but thankfully, I am happy to say that’s not really the case. It’s very good looking and strong car. In terms of the dashboard design, here is classic BMW stuff. Little bit older in terms of its tech and designing, the dash board reminds of the previous generation 3 series. The steering is, of typical BMW style, it’s very heavy but it is also very easy to handle and has very smooth leather. The door panels have soft touch as well; they have leather stitching where your elbows are going to rest. The back seats are little tight for a taller traveller and the luggage capacity is surprisingly roomy and practical in 128i. We have got premium audio system, pretty supportive leather wrapped driver seat and audio control options on the steering. Overall, the interior looks interesting.
