The Ford Fiesta is a car of generations and manufactured globally, including Europe, North America, South America, China, India, Thailand and South Africa. It has achieved Britain’s best-selling car award of the year in 2014. Now it has reached its seventh generation.

Fiesta’s three-cylinder 1.0-litre petrol engine has received much praise in turbocharged Ecoboost form. The impressive engine is available in two different versions of power with 98bhp and 123bhp. Both engines are quiet, smooth and fast. You can achieve 0-62m/h within 11.2 seconds with 98 bhp 1.0-litre petrol version.
Three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engines provide best economy in this class. Another Ecoboost petrol engine is available in the Fiesta ST with more power of 138 bhp, the quickest in this lineup but restricted for the specific models. It is remarkable for sprint and acceleration along with good fuel consumption.
There are three different versions of the basic 1.5 litre turbocharged diesel engine. The 1.5 litre turbocharged diesel engine with power of 78 bhp, the lower-powered version gets 104m/h top speed with sprint from 0-62m/h within 13.4 seconds. The other version in 1.5 litre turbocharged diesel engine is with the power of 96bhp.
Its top speed is 113m/h with a sprint of 0-62 m/h in just 10.9 seconds. Fiesta is as good in diesel versions as in its petrol ones. Fuel consumption is also very economical but if you want to defeat fuel saving measures then Econetic version of diesel engine should be your first choice.
With top speed of 111 m/h and sprint of 0-62m/h in 11.9 seconds, it gives unbelievable fuel average of 88.3m/g with very low emissions of Co2 at the rate of 82g/km.
