CO2 emissions are as low as 174g/km and an average fuel consumption from 32.8mpg which is 11 percent better than the previous version that it replaces.
Having option of a 2.3-Litre Ford Transit engine, the gearbox can assess if the car is following a steep path or carrying massive load and adjusting the shifting strategy. Two modes are offered, one is the standard AWD auto mode which is suitable for daily drive whereas AWD Lock mode that enhances traction in extreme conditions such as driving in snow or sand.
The new Ford Transit range is out with an electrifying Sync infotainment system. The company claims a better and user friendly experience in this latest edition. SYNC 3 system will enable the drivers to better control their smartphones navigation system, audio files and climate functions. The system is intelligent enough to respond to voice commands such as “find an address”, “find a coffee shop” or “find a fuel station” etc. The system is highly responsive and comes with a large touchscreen for easy tap and pinch operation. The buttons are readily accessible to the driver.
AppleCarPlay and Android Auto functions are also part of this latest package offering smartphone compatibility. Driver can easily make use of all the phone’s features like answering calls, audible text messages and mobile connectivity on the go without diverting attention from driving. Several apps can be accessed on the infotainment screen via AppLink feature including music files and weather updates. All these functions are just a click away.
