PSA is managing multiple brands all at the same time, which on the contrary, is not an easy task for a small scale business like PSA, as compare to its mighty rivals like Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz and JLR in the UK market. It’s taken a long time but they are performing very well. Seat is finally finding its place in the Volkswagen family, alongside the Skoda, Volkswagen and Audi models.
At early stage, it’s been a difficult task to make noticeable place alongside rivals, but then, things turned around pretty well. For example, the Leon has won three awards at New Car Awards last year, which is evident of those tiresome efforts the company has put in.
Employing the multi-brand strategy has worked very well with the PSA and gone noticeably successful. The PSA Peugeot Citroen boss, Carlos Tavares has transformed the DS into an entirely new identity within its target markets.
The DS is the mix of premium car and an MPV to meet the requirements of Tavares and three other bosses involved in the brand. It has shown at the Shanghai Motor Show last week. PSA is going to dominate into the world’s largest car market – China – from this year.
Brit Linda Jackson worked very hard to refresh the Citroen with the Aircross concept. The Aircross was the star of the Shanghai Motor Show. The Cactus was seen in previous years, as a futuristic beauty, now Linda Jackson said that the Spirit of Cactus will be transferred into every new Citroen and all the new models will offer some features as of the Cactus. The Aircross is a luxurious SUV and can rival the larger and luxurious SUVs around the globe.
Let’s back to DS, Yves Bonnefont, the boss of DS proudly speaks about the brand that how it will rival the German competitors. It is the alliance of refinement and technology. He also confirms that the comfort levels are very important to the DS and you will see an innovative new suspension system in the DS models.
All these models will help the PSA to get back into the race with the giants.
