How fast is your car? It is zero if it is not one of the 5 speeding monsters mentioned below, they are simply born to sprint like an electric bolt
You can measure excellence of a vehicle by many factors e.g. if it is a family car, you will see the cabin space first and then fuel economy and its comfort for your family, similarly if it is a Supermini, you will judge its fuel economy first but if it is an off road vehicle or an SUV, you will definitely go for its all-wheel drive capability and its engine power and torque and will definitely prefer diesel as fuel because it a necessity for the diesel engines, it is backbone of torquey engines.
For the speed, if you are looking to dump your money into a luxury, then these vehicles are the best options and they are simply not developed for the 99 percent of the market but they are designed and marketed to only 1 percent of the market.
Speed is the only factor that produces sensation and superiority while behind the wheels. It gives you a different type of feeling of being ahead of anything on the road if you are in the vehicle which is a road legal vehicle. On the other hand, speed is the only factor that everyone considers it seriously, even he is after a supermini or he is looking to by a supercar, speed is an undeniable reality.
We left the sensation art over to you because it is a feeling that can come from a test drive only or riding one your friend has bought recently. Here, the list of 5 speed monsters is more than concise with only top five vehicles selected for the list.
Selected five monsters are just more than cars and they are even more than a fun ride too. In reality, they are something more than just cars, they are monsters, and they are icons of speed and power. They are the fastest cars in production on the planet earth. The emphasis is given to the production because further personation and other tweaks are not considered.
All these cars have claimed of being the fastest car on the planet earth, and the couple of them are already on the Guinness book of world record too. They have generally come to mind when you say the word speed, your mind works to draw a sketch of speed and one of these five vehicles definitely comes on the list.
Apart from this list, there are several vehicles who will knock out several names out of this list and they will become the fastest vehicle on the planet earth, e.g. SSC is looking to take its top position back soon and Bugatti and tuatara will also try to push their Chiron into the first or second position this year too. But for now, these five cars are the fastest and powerful, nothing else. Let’s start with the monster of the day.

When it comes to speed, the first name comes to mind is GT vehicles, but when the same word connected to the Hennessey Venom, it becomes more venomous and turned into the speeding monster. Even in 2014, the standard version of the Venom GT recorded its top speed of 270 miles per hour and become the fastest car on the planet earth when the fastest was giving only 264 odd miles per hour. The Venom created a difference in the speed line and led the list for some time. This action started the race for getting the top position on the list and becoming the fastest vehicle producers among the automotive producers.
Hennessey took the initiative and re-tweaked its venom GT monster. Soon after they tested the Venom and the venom GT proves itself by breaking the barrier of 300 miles per hour for the first time in the history of track legal vehicles. It returned 301 miles per hour. It was more than a school zone speed limit for the vehicles of that time.
This Venom was based on a new carbon fiber chassis weighing around 2950 lbs. this chassis was bolted with a power monster, capable of cranking more than 1600 hp from its 7.4 litre V8 engine further connected to twin turbochargers for forced air induction. The result of this modern setup was 249 miles per hour in just under 30 seconds. The top speed of the venom is not the part of Guinness book of world records yet and left the Koenigsegg Agera RS as a toper for a couple of more days.

Officially, the Koenigsegg Agera RS is the fastest car on the planet earth but its supremacy has smoked after the Venom has broken the 300 miles per hour speed barrier. But our list has been updated and we have pushed the Agera RS into the second position. Don’t need to ask why, because it is already explained in the case of venom that the venom is more impressive in the table then the Agera, in all aspects from stats to speed. But only the difference is that they have not yet verified their numbers.
Here in this list, Koenigsegg has won the silver medal anyways and it is still a speed king on the planet earth. The Agera was tested in Nevada by the permission of Nevada department of transportation on a public road of 11 miles and it hits 284.55 in the first lap, 271.19 in the second lap and 277.9 in the third lap and the average was 278 miles per hour. Koenigsegg officially offers a massive list of equipment with the Agera RS. This list alone worth of thousands of pounds. Standard equipment includes, Dual Airbags, power operated windows, for adaptive drive control, the rear wing is adaptive, detachable and storable hardtop with sunroof, racing harnesses with four points. A rearview camera for better control, driver friendly pedals, and steering column, both adjustable, to control the massive power from coming from engine, carbon ceramic brakes added with Sports ABS system. Koenigsegg has added power controlled steering and brakes system and especially designed seatbelts for track use, built-in satellite navigation system, Intelligent LifePo4 battery, full on infotainment system with USB connection MP3 player and an excellent climate control, digital warning and info system, tyre monitoring system, silver key, G sensor, alarm, leather carpets, and for extra safety of your car, Koenigsegg offers a free car cover as well.

The Venom GT comes second after its venom F5 sibling, the Venom GT completed its speed lap on the Kennedy space center and recorded a top speed of 270.4 miles per hour. It was considered legitimate because usually when speed test arises, it is considered a lap in each direction and they convert it into an average speed of all figures to eliminate the wind effect.
The Venom GT is mostly a hand built super car and its quality of being designed and made by hand triggers a debate that if it is a qualified production car. While it has an amazing top speed and a bolting fast engine, but Hennessey again didn’t opt Guinness book of world record to get some recognition. They ignore the book second time in a row, first in the case of venom F5 and now the GT. Actually, legends don’t need any recognition, may think this way, anyways, they are still standing ahead when it comes to speed. The Venom GT was tested on the shuttle landing track and the performance team fully collaborated with the manufacturer specs before they tested the GT, they validate engineering, design and engine performance and then started the test and GT venom validated every detail. It delivers the performance which was readily able to get its place in Guinness book of world record but Hennessey denied to get the chance.

The speeding legends Bugatti was in the game when none of the vehicles explained were existed. The Veyron was an engineering feat even in 2005 and it was a supercar with marvelous performance and speed. Top gear tested the Veyron in their program and James May was riding the Veyron and he claimed that the Veyron is a road version of the Concorde.
Almost ten years after a success story, when Veyron becomes the part fo Guinness book of world record too, Bugatti has announced its second marvel and successor to the Veyron. It was Chiron, another speed monster on the planet earth. It was the successor to the Veyron that’s why it was intended to be superior then Veyron in all aspects. It used a 1500 hp street legal engine and in its street legal settings, Chiron has hit the speed of 261 miles per hour under controlled configurations, means acting like a monster in chains. Bugatti hasn’t given it chance to break these chains on the racing track yet, but they are considering it to do this year and where Chiron has planned to become the leader in speed.
Bugatti has never focused on the Chiron as a speed vehicle but they present it as a comprehensive luxury vehicle while being a super speeding monster. If you get a chance to see its interior and tweaks given to it, it is a unique vehicle in itself, has massive leather trims inside and a decedent sound system with ultra HD displays and the dashboard. The displays in the dashboard pick and choose modes automatically and show these changes to the driver as well. It shows every critical and crucial information while on the high speed and controls every movement of the vehicle. Unconditionally, the Chiron is the king of luxury and speed. It is true to be said the beauty of the beast presented here. Only 500 will be built for the first generation and released to the market. It is a £2 million masterpiece of Bugatti.

Volkswagen was very excited upon purchasing of the Bugatti brand and they set a goal to produce the fastest car in the world. As Bugatti was famous for its luxury cars at that time. Volkswagen started working on the fastest production car in the world and Veyron comes into existence. The Veyron successfully achieved the goal and it was offered for sale under a price tag of £1.6 million for the first time. The Veyron was powered by a quad turbocharger and a w16 engine, cranking 1000hp. It was a superlative form of a production car.
Then comes the SSC era and they soon dethroned the Bugatti Veyron with its SSC aero and set a world record of being the fastest, then Veyron strike back with the super sports version of the Veyron with a 1200 horsepower engine and massive changes in design and aerodynamics to help get fewer extra miles from the vehicle.
This time Veyron came back with the top speed of 268 miles per hour and it was tested on the Volkswagen Ehra-Lessein racing track. Guinness book of world record then recognized the Veyron super sport as a second fastest supercar on the planet earth.
