Toyota is one of the largest automobile makers in the world and is famous for its Hybrid technologies but in previous years Toyota has shifted its intentions towards the latest hydrogen fuel cell technology to built the FC Vehicles and working hard to promote the benefits of fuel cell vehicle. These systems can be used in transportation to support the green environment. However, Toyota faces strong criticism from its opponents from those who favour the battery powered electric vehicles and are very rigid to change but the Japanese automaker remains stubborn in its belief that the Hydrogen fuel cell or other kind of cells are the future of clean transportation. Now Toyota is making harder efforts to bring the hydrogen fuel cell vehicles to the market sooner than it had originally planned in order to show their belief in fuel cell vehicles.
Toyota officials said that they wish to introduce their FCVs in the market as soon as possible and they are also spending millions on infrastructure in California to support their FCVs. They were initially delaying the launch of FCVs because of the absence of supporting infrastructure in the market but now this issue likely to be resolved.
Toyota is ready to start the mass production of new FCVs in December, and they have plans to introduce these vehicles in the same month. Initial estimates shows that it will be available for around $100,000. Customers will be able to get their favourite Fuel Cell Vehicles on lease from Toyota’s selected dealerships.
