New VW Golf GTI Clubsport S is a light-weight Golf but it is inspired from its up market relative Porsche 911 GT3 and has received a new engine line up which will give an oomph of power to the new hot hatch that will ultimately produce 300bhp from a VW Golf Engine.
It has recently been acquainted with the German auto maker that a high performance Golf GTI Clubsport S has been tested on the world’s most famous racing ring called Nurburgring. The new model has been introduced recently. VW says that the new model is a robust and swift hot hatch and has speed and performance inspiration from Porsche 911 GT3 and is powered by a Seat Leon engine. The new engine was previously serving the Seat Leon Cupra 290 and now it will be used in the new Golf Sportclub S.
The new Golf GTI Clubsport S is anticipated to get its own suspension and damper settings to handle the extra power to be had from the new Seat Leon Cupra 290 engine. Which is capable of generating more than 300bhp, and was making around 284bhp in the previous Cupra 290 models, but now in the Golf models it will be making about 16bhp more than the Seat.
This configuration would also make new Golf GTI Clubsport S almost 40bhp extra powerful. VW has ditched several luxuries and modify the overall rear of the new Golf GTI Clubsport S to slash the weight of the new model.
To be very specific to the engine specs, it is a 2.0 litre 4 cylinder 30bhp engine, delivers a torque of 280lb-ft and takes only 5.8 seconds to pass the 62 miles per hour and has a top speed of 165 miles per hour.
Porsche 911 GT3 Clubsport has conveyed the idea for Volkswagen’s agonizing task, proposing it’ll have a speed focused design that must make new Golf GTI Clubsport S a serious challenge to beat for the similarly focused Renault sport Megane 275, which is available with elective race focused Ohlin’s dampers.
The most reasonably priced Renault Megane sport model is very close to the new Golf GTI Clubsport S and produces 271bhp but in addition, its price starts at £23,935.
New model has a mechanically controlled slip differential system to improve the handling. To stop that massive whirl of power, there are clipper brakes used in addition with the anti-rolling bars. It has satellite navigation, rear parking sensors and digicam technology.
The new Golf GTI Clubsport S may just get all the devotion, but for time being that model will give a strong competition, VW has considered something like the R to outrank the Renault Megane Sport.
The all new Golf GTI Clubsport S will rival all the models like Megane and its own siblings like Golf R. It is priced above the average price of the previously Clubsport and current most up to date Golf, the Golf R, which sells from £31,125. It has a starting price of £35,000 in the UK.”
